Run, Forrest. Run!
That’s the thought I give to my mind when I want to get going at running. When I ask how I’ll ever be able to run an extra mile while on marathon, I think about that scene from the movie. The answer is that simple.
Remember this golden rule in running. The more you run, the better your brain and body adjusts to it. Since I don’t get to run every day, I try to imagine that I have awful in-laws involved, chasing after me and leaving me sprawled out on the track by the time they’re done stampeding on me after mistreating my wife.
When I am bored with the roads, I throw away my GPS and start to find a long hill that takes me long to run hard up. Once I get there, I start releasing the lock from the Zorb ball, then I turn around to run back down swiftly, and if I lose my footing, I lose!
I can also kill my legs in the gym doing the lifts we all hate, but they’re the ones that do the most to help me get more power from my legs-helping to boost endurance. Then, I cross train instead, if I’m feeling burnt out, mentally or physically by giving myself a break by cycling or swimming. At times, I try walking (while it might seem wimpy, its arguably better for first-time marathoners like me.
It's no secret that I LOVE running and it is definitely my soul-mate exercise! Thank goodness for running partners, they keep me focused and motivated. And when I feel mean and nasty tired of people who argue with me about how bad running is for a person, they can be a lot of fun too in letting you realize the importance of finding the fun in running when first training for a marathon.

Boost your cushioning
The foundation of the ENERGY BOOST™ innovation is centred on proprietary cushioning
material, BOOST™, that allows the runner to feel a continuous energy return. The
revolutionary technology allows small energy capsules in the soles to store and unleash
energy more efficiently with every stride.
Boost your conditions
Holding its performance in almost any condition the exclusive BOOST™ material has been
proven to be three times more temperature-resistant than standard EVA material, thus
providing a more consistent and comfortable run.
“As a revolutionary material, BOOST™ combines the usually conflicting performance
benefits of soft and comfortable with firm and responsive cushioning. It almost makes the
shoe come to life, and you will feel it from the first moment you put it on. It sets a new

provides optimal comfort and support to the entire foot while in motion.
Additional features include a special mid-foot support frame, an extended TORSION® system
to minimise roll for more stability, adiwear outsole to reduce wear in key soles areas and an
external heel counter to maximise the heel fit and comfort. The adidas ENERGY BOOST™ is
miCoach compatible.
